There is no better detective fiction writer on the North Coast than Robert White. And as always, White not only tells one heck of a tale but also plumbs the depths of human failings. For me, White's talents as a writer, especially his style, prove that his detective fiction can be more than a good read. And whether I like it or not, after reading his latest, I've discovered that there is that wicked part of his characters in all of us.
